Meet our doctor
Dr. Cody Bourque is a dedicated veterinarian with a special interest in oncology, committed to preserving the bond between families and their beloved pets. He emphasizes clear and empathetic client communication, ensuring pets and their families receive the best possible care in a supportive environment.
Dr. Bourque understands firsthand the impact of a cancer diagnosis on a family. When his golden retriever, Daisy, was diagnosed with a rare tongue cancer, his family was devastated. With limited information available about the cancer, they faced a difficult choice: a six-month prognosis or a life-changing surgery for Daisy. After much deliberation, a personalized plan was created, requiring a total glossectomy (total tongue removal). Two years later, Daisy continues to thrive, and Dr. Bourque remains dedicated to advocating for the best cancer treatments through realistic and transparent discussions.
